Confirmation of Valid Applications for WASWAC Youth Outstanding Paper Award (DATUM) 2021
By Jan 31, 2021, the WASWAC Youth Outstanding Paper Award 2021 (YOPA 2021) received 51 confirmed applications with full papers (the list is shown below). The award will move forward to the second phase of evaluation that will take about 2 months. The final result of awardees will be announced on the WASWAC website and website for the Third International Youth Forum on Soil and Water Conservation (IYFSWC) in April 2021.
There are some key points that all applications need to pay special attention to.
We have received 98 applications with abstract but only 51 applications with full paper were finally received. Only the applications with full paper received by the end of January are valid, as shown in the list at the end of this post.
All awarded papers will be requested to submit to the official Journal of WASWAC International Soil and Water Conservation Research (ISWCR, IF=3.770). Therefore, please hold the listed paper for submission to journals other than ISWCR until the YOPA awardees are announced. If you have submitted or is planning to submit your YOPA nominated paper to ISWCR, please inform us the YOPA ID (WASWAC_YOPA_###) and the journal assigned ID through email to waswac-yopafoxmail.com.
If the paper finally awarded was submitted to other journals before the announcement of the award result, the award will be rescinded. The papers rejected by ISWCR and then submitted to other journals are exempted from this requirement.
The evaluation of YOPA and review of ISWCR is independent of each other.
